Consent
Below is a copy of the consent form (signed electronically) before consultations with Hilary Roche. (Hilary Roche reserves the right to amend this consent agreement as required).
Agreement between: Plan Your Reno - Hilary Roche Consultations (with Consultant Hilary Roche as the Consultancy providing the services) and Client. Hilary Roche (Consultant) agrees to provide Consultancy and other like services for the Client during their scheduled sessions.
Description: Coaching sessions are a creative process that educates and inspires the client to research and create a plan for their home renovation project. Hilary Roche is skilled at renovations and guiding clients through the challenging process of planning a home renovation. Understanding the complexity of a home renovation can greatly assist in better and more accurate decision-making.
Responsibilities:
1. The client understands and acknowledges that during their consultations, Hilary Roche (Consultant) will at all times exercise her best professional efforts, skills, and care to ensure that the client is brought through the process of planning their renovation project. The client understands and acknowledges that Hilary Roche will not be liable legally or otherwise, for the actions the client may or may not undertake as a result of their consultations together (via Zoom).
2. The client understands that working with Hilary Roche (Consultant) does not prevent, or avoid any unforeseen event not planned for as part of the consultation process. Home renovations are complex, with many individuals involved and many moving parts. Hilary Roche can not be held responsible for the level of planning carried out by the client.
3. The client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance, and prioritize the time and energy to participate fully in each session.
4. Hilary Roche (consultant) cannot guarantee any specific results for the client.
5. The client understands Hilary Roche (consultant) will offer guidance and action steps to help the client plan their project. Hilary Roche (consultant) cannot carry out any of the action steps for or on behalf of the client.
6. The client understands Hilary Roche (consultant) cannot design or offer design assistance for their project. The guidance and expertise offered by Hilary Roche (consultant) is in the home renovation research stage.
Consultations: The parties agree to engage via Zoom. Hilary Roche will be available to the Client by e-mail in between scheduled sessions for check-ins as needed. This is agreed with the client.
Schedule & Fees:
All fees are listed on the website. This is due to change at the discretion of Hilary Roche.
All fees are paid in advance of consultations.
Confidentiality: No personal client information will be used without the prior consent of the client. Hilary Roche may refer to 'projects' in general terms without the use of the client's name.
Cancellation Policy: The client agrees that it is the Client's responsibility to notify Hilary Roche (consultant), via email, a minimum of 24 hours in advance of a scheduled session for any rescheduling or cancelation. Hilary Roche acknowledges that emergencies last-minute challenges and illnesses do come up and she is happy to try and accommodate such needs when possible. The client will be charged for a no-call, missed session, or a late cancellation unless there is a valid reason for the late cancellation. Also, due to the scheduled times of other clients, a client may be prohibited from their full-hour session if they are running late for their session.
Termination: Either Client or Hilary Roche (consultant) may terminate this agreement at any time with written notice.
Limited Liability: Except what is provided in this written agreement, Hilary Roche (consultant) makes no guarantees or warranties, express or implied.
This is the entire agreement of the parties and reflects a complete understanding of the parties, for the Consultant and Client relationship. This agreement supersedes all prior written and oral representations.
